About Peninsula
Founded in 1977 in Orlando, FL, Peninsula Engineering is a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering Design firm with LEED accredited professionals on staff. We specialize in commercial and institutional facility designs. Our project experience includes churches, hotel and resort complexes, healthcare facilities design, mainframe data centers, television and radio production facilities, theme parks and ride and show features. While most or our projects are located in the Central Florida area, our company has completed designs of hotels in Louisiana, Delaware and Georgia as well as theme parks in Phuket, Thailand, clean room manufacturing facilities in San Jose, Costa Rica and pharmaceutical labs in Texas and Pennsylvania. In fact, Peninsula Engineering has successfully completed over 4600 projects worldwide including The Sultan of Brunei Ceremonial Hall, hotels in Hong Kong and Mainland China, and theme parks in Bangkok and the Philippines. Peninsula Engineering, Inc. is licensed in 22 states and the U.S Virgin Islands.
Peninsula Engineering’s corporate philosophy is to encourage staff participation in engineering and civic societies and we are proud to have staff that has served as current or past presidents of numerous organizations, including:

Peninsula Engineering has also provided judges for the Orange County Regional Science and Engineering Fair and the Associated Builders and Contractors annual awards and participated in Engineer’s Week as presenters to local elementary and middle schools and technical programs at numerous society meetings. We are currently working with the University of Central Florida to spearhead efforts on behalf of ASHRAE to establish an enhanced HVAC curriculum for the school.
Peninsula Engineering has donated engineering services in excess of $300,000.00 for charitable causes including pro-bono design services to organizations such as:
