Mat Shearer – Associate Principal

Mat Shearer is an Associate Principal and Project Manager at Peninsula Engineering. He has a BS degree from the University of Central Florida and provides electrical systems design for numerous commercial projects. His experience includes over ten years of work in diverse projects such as tenant improvement and emergency generator systems for critical data centers, restaurants and healthcare facilities. He has also been involved in several high-end retail projects and high-density call centers.

Mr. Shearer is a long term member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and serves such notable clientele as CB Richard Ellis, Trammell Crow Company, Grubb & Ellis, Tower Realty, Lincoln Properties, Gaedeke Landers and GVA Advantis. He also routinely works in conjunction with such notable Architectural and Interior Design firms as Scott Bray Design Associates, Clifford Sargent Cagle, Baker Barrios Architects, The Scott Partnership, Powell Design Group, VOA Associates and personally directs an average of over 700,000 sq. ft. of tenant improvement space annually.
