TriQuint Clean Room Manufacturing Plant

Peninsula Engineering served as prime professional for this 22,000 square foot Class 10,000 clean room facility in San Jose, Costa Rica. The building was designed and constructed for the production of electronic chips for an Orlando based manufacturer. Peninsula Engineering directed the architect, civil engineer and structural engineer to produce a complete set of construction documents prepared in both English and Spanish and inch/metric units of measure. Mechanical design included Class 10,000 HEPA filtration with humidity control at +/- 2%. Electrical power design included dual utility power feeds, UPS Systems, as well as standby emergency power.
