Disney Disc Project

The Disney Disc is the central booking for the Disney computer reservations system. The project required weather “hardening” of the Disc building electrical and air conditioning services. This entailed a 9,870 sq. ft. central energy plant area with 4,800 sq ft of building under roof. Within the building four backup diesel powered electrical generators with associated automatic switch gear and a system of 14 primary and secondary pumps along with five 225-ton air cooled chillers located within an adjacent walled area. This project also required that an automated auto changeover of building chilled water for utility service to backup service.
