Florida Hospital, Winter Park Memorial, ED Expansion

Peninsula Engineering provided MEP/FP/Med Gas services for the renovation/expansion of the existing emergency department. The work included normal & emergency electrical distribution, lighting calculations and design; new HVAC systems with 90% filtration; replacement of the nurse call system in the new ED, old ED and express care and new med gas systems to replace code deficient outdated gases. The project was constructed in phases to minimize any impact to the facility. The project required regulatory review and inspection by AHCA.
