The Orlando Grande

Peninsula Engineering provided mechanical and electrical design for this 1,200,000 square foot, 1100 room convention/resort facility. The central energy plant consists of 3600 tons of water-cooled chillers and 475 horse-power of gas fired boilers for heating and domestic hot water. Overall project design includes life safety, mechanical and electrical system, extensive food service facilities, industrial laundry, automated lighting controls and a comprehensive energy management system.
