Safari Adventure

Peninsula Engineering provided mechanical and electrical design for this 25,000 square foot feature ride, a segment of a theme park in Beijing, China. The elaborate design required a set of water trams traveling through different levels to view an adventure show. The building also included queue lines with special air conditioning systems, gang toilet rooms, and concessions and retail sales areas. Mechanical design included: chilled water HVAC system, pyrotechnics smoke purge systems, articulated pneumatic controls for the ride and show features and audio animatronics, normal power and emergency generator for the entire building, as well as a life safety system. Theatrical lighting and special audio systems were also coordinated by Peninsula Engineering. Uninterrupted power supplies were designed for audio animatronics computer control systems.
