The Westin Spa, Sales Center and Check-In -

The Westin Spa, Sales Center and Check-In building is a three story, high end facilty of spa, salon and retail amenities with facilities for hotel check-in, site wide information technologies, restaurant and associated partial ownership villas sales and office spaces. This project will entail a 20,000 sq. ft. spa treatment center and 12,000 sq. ft. sales center. An additional 12,000 square feet rounds out the balance of design spaces. HVAC includes a 160 ton chiller with two pipe distribution and electric heat for humidity control. Each treatment room is supplied by 100% outside conditioned air to limit odors and give a better controlled experience. To maximize the guest experience, special attention was given to air flow to avoid drafts, limit the ability of odors to travel from nail and hair areas, and maintain negative pressure on the locker rooms. In addition, 180 KW of electric boilers were provided to support the substantial hot water needs of a high end spa. Numerous water features throughout the facility add to the natural feel of the island experience.
