Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning System Design

Peninsula Engineering’s staff of highly skilled professionals have the experience to deal with today’s HVAC design challenges. We understand that controlling the indoor environment forces the design professional to make critical decisions regarding operating efficiencies, indoor air quality, economically feasible first costs and ownership costs. This is why LEED certification now plays a major role in considering these alternatives. The ever changing HVAC technologies require continuing education to provide the building owner with the optimum solution for their particular facility.

Peninsula Engineering’s staff designs for diverse indoor environment objectives including healthcare facilities with varying system needs; high tech facilities including cleanroom manufacturing centers and main frame data processing rooms that require critical temperature and humidity control, as well as particulate filtration to support their intended use; hospitality projects that need to manage humidity control and comfort levels in guest areas; smoke management systems that are now the norm in high-rise structures; ventilation for manufacturing processes including paint spray booths, spot cooling, dust collection systems and acoustical sensitive sound studios; and commercial kitchen and restaurant design that require proper hood ventilation systems while maintaining comfort conditions in very high paced environments.

Peninsula Engineering’s approach to all of these challenges is to apply innovative ideas that work. Whether it’s central energy plants for campus wide facilities, direct digital control (DDC) energy management systems or the retrofitting of existing HVAC equipment, Peninsula Engineering has a proven track record of success. This is do in large part to our staff, which includes members that have recently served as Secretary, Treasurer and 3 past presidents for the Central Florida chapter of the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE).
